Thabiso Setlhatlole

At age sixteen, Thabiso began his theatrical career in the publicity office of the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.

Whilst being involved in the choral gospel choir Bana Ba Sinai, he was also involved in the stage production - "Trust the Children" and wih Committed Artists before he joined Izigi Dancers and the Laduma Dancers performing in various concerts at Sun City.

Thabiso dubbed a song for the film "Cry the beloved country" whilst working for Video Vision Enterprise Film Company. He also was actively involved with "Sarafina" the movie.

International seasons followed with the musicals "Ipi N'Tombi" and "Izi Dumo" he also toured South Africa with the Renaissance Musical Jazz Project. He has toured with Gumboots for over five years since the first appearances in South Africa and the Edinburgh Festival.
