Mfana “Jones” Hlophe

Jones was born in Durban in 1971. He began acting in 1987 and has appeared in both Sarafina the musical and movie. In 1993, he joined Gibson Kente’s School of Art and has performed in his production of Mfowethu. Later that year he was cast in the lead role in the South African television series “Mama’s Love”. In 1997 Jones toured to Australia performing the lead role in Ipi Ntombi. Other credits include Five Guys Named Moe, Milestones and Beat City.
